Often players need time to try an instrument in different settings or to get guidance on an instrument from a trusted teacher or friend. We offer 10 day home trials for this reason. After coming into our shop and narrowing your selection down to two to three instruments, you can take them home to try. This allows you to feel absolutely confident in your selection and to take time to hear and appreciate each instruments qualities. Live far away or can’t come into the shop to select instruments for trial? No problem, tell us your requirements and we will carefully select 2 - 3 instruments and/or bows and cases and ship them to you. We ship instruments anywhere in the U.S. We pay shipping to you, and you pay return ground shipping. No need to purchase for the return shipping, our insurance covers both ways as long as the instruments are shipped by a trackable method.

There is a $50.00 deduction in the trade-in credit for cleaning and polishing of a violin or viola or re-hair of a bow. The deduction for cellos is $100.
