Callegari Instruments
From our inception in Rochester, Sullivan Violins has carried the Callegari line of instruments. These are some of the most well constructed violins made in China today. In addition to the traditional Stradivari and Guarneri styles,the Callegari workshop features internationally trained luthiers who are producing exceptional instruments modeled on the works of Amati and Guadagnini. These varnish is applied in a manner that is beautifully reflective of the classic Italian instruments on which they are based.
The tone of the violins will delight the ear of the most discerning player. A rich deep G string compliments a brilliant and singing E string. The A and D strings evenly complete the arc of a full and powerful tone. The violas and cellos also provide powerful and even resonant tone.
